Rent in advance and deposit interest free loan scheme for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and who are seeking private rented accommodation. Applicants must have little or no savings and must first register with Lewes District Council.

Home Works is for you if you are aged 16 to 64 (a single person, a couple or a family), homeless or at risk of losing of your home, and need support to live independently. It is a free service which provides flexible and tailored support to prevent homelessness. We work with you to help you keep or access safe and affordable housing that you can call home.
Domestic violence is any threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between adults who are or have been in a relationship, or between family members. The violence can be psychological, physical, sexual or emotional.
Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) are staffed by dedicated teams and are open to serve all local people who require advice on housing, financial issues, disputes, benefit entitlements, grants, council tax, trading standards and a range of other issues you may encounter.
Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support and legal services. And we campaign to make sure that one day, no one will have to turn to us for help.
It is accepted that the best place for young people is with their families, but if we feel you are homeless we will pass you on for a formal assessment of your needs. There are a number of different services which we can give you access to.

Specially trained health coaches work with you on the non-clinical aspects of your health that may be stopping you from living your life in the way you would like.
This is a FREE service provided by NHS High Weald Lewes Havens Clinical Commissioning Group in a partnership with the GP surgeries in Lewes:
The GP practices in Lewes are offering ‘On Track’ Live Well Feel Better group sessions for people who have already had one-to-one health coaching and feel they would benefit from this continuation of support. The upcoming groups are as follows: Every other Wednesday at 6.00-7.30 pm
